    We’re looking for an enthusiastic and detail-driven Administrative Assistant to join our Foothills County office. In this role, you’ll keep operations running smoothly — supporting estimating, scheduling, accounting, and client communication in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.

    You’ll work directly with company leadership, gaining hands-on experience across multiple areas of the business.   • Administrative & Communication Support

    • Communicate confidently with clients — existing, past, and new

    • Coordinate client calls, scheduling, and follow-ups

    • Support estimating and project coordination (quotes, proposals, and parts procurement)

    • Stay one step ahead — keeping jobs, service tickets, and purchase orders organized and moving forward

    Team & Workflow Coordination

    • Bridge communication between the field and office teams

    • Keep priorities aligned and the team organized through clear communication

    • Handle sensitive company and client information confidentially

    Accounting & Office Operations

    • Assist with reviewing job reports, sending invoices, processing payments, and maintaining accurate records

    • Support general bookkeeping, filing, and document management

    • Maintain and update digital systems for internal tracking and reporting

    • Minimum 3 years of administrative experience (preferably in service, construction, or technical industries)

    • Upbeat, confident communicator — comfortable speaking with clients over the phone and in person

  • On-Site Maintenance and Repair:

    • Respond to emergency calls which may occur after regular business hours.

    • Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on diesel power generation systems as per CSA 282-15 and NFPA 2017.

    • Exceptional performance of full engine overhauls, extensive major repairs and removal and replacement of defective parts on diesel and industrial power generation systems.

    • Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems using various tools, diagnostic software and equipment.

    • Perform maintenance and repair tasks for Gentech’s extensive rental fleet, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

    • Read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, blueprints, schematics, and drawings.

    Inspection and Troubleshooting:

    • Conduct thorough inspections of machinery to identify wear, damage, and potential issues before they result in equipment failure.

    • Use advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to troubleshoot complex problems and determine the root cause.

    Leadership:

    • Provide direct supervision, motivation, and leadership to Field Service staff and keep junior field staff productive.

    • Provide continuity between the Field Service staff, Manager and Administration within the Field Service division as well as provide input to employee reviews on a technical level.

    Customer Service:

    • Communicate clearly with clients explaining technical issues, recommendations and address client concerns ensuring satisfaction with services provided.

    Documentation and Reporting:

    • Complete detailed service reports and documentation for each job.

    Safety and Compliance:

    • Adhere to all safety protocols, best practice and industry regulations to ensure an efficient, safe working environment for yourself and others.

    Training and Development:

    • Stay current with industry advancements and emerging technologies through ongoing training and professional development.

    • Share knowledge and best practices with junior technicians & team members.

    • Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician or Journeyperson/Master electrician with mechanical experience. (Required)

    • Exceptional mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with engines, generators, and control systems. (Required)

    • Proficient with using engine, generator, control system diagnostic software. (Required)

    • Experience with various engine manufacturers. (Required)

    • Proficient in power generation load testing or diesel performance testing. (Required)

    • Knowledge of CSA-282-15 and NFPA 2017 regulations. (Preferred)

    • Supervisory experience with a proven ability to delegate tasks effectively. (Preferred)

    • Takes ownership of actions and decisions, ensuring reliability and accountability in fulfilling job duties.

    • Must be self-motivated and able to perform well under minimal supervision.

    • Effectively manage multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines.
